WHAT: Photographs taken by students at the Humanitas Academy of Art and Technology and Harvard Westlake will be on display at Bergamot Station for a month beginning May 16. Nineteen HAAT students had work selected for the gallery exhibition. Some students have as many as five of their photographs on view. The photos offer a vibrant portrait of the neighborhoods and surrounding communities where students from both schools reside. The project will include the publication of a hardcover book. The collaboration is being directed by Joan Dooley, photography teacher from Humanitas, and Joe Medina, photography teacher from Harvard Westlake.
